Description
Cow farming is incredibly efficient in Phanes Bay, and so leather is an abundant resource. With bullets being a resource that is difficult to replenish, even by the thriving society here, much combat is melee based. With this in mind, the military is marked by their leather armor.

Soldiers are expected to make and maintain their own armor. Military leather is primarily black, with shoulder-plates of a secondary color. Police forces use white as their secondary color, and raiders use red. Markings of secondary color on gauntlets display rank.

As soldiers create their own armor, different battalions have developed their own armor styles as part of their identity. Primary differences between squads are shoulder-plate and scaling styles, as well as more aesthetic small decorations.
